they don't listen to music like we do.
" The ones who don’t have their hands up enjoying the concert. The ones who aren’t grooving with the basslines. The ones who aren’t singing along with the artist. The ones who aren’t at the local record store digging through thousands of vinyls looking for that one record that they must have to add to their collection. The ones who don’t educate themselves on the history of their favorite genre of music. The ones who aren’t next to the stereo at a party looking though the selection playing music for every one. The ones who aren’t nodding their heads vibing to the music. The ones who aren’t afraid to like something not on a top 40 playlist. The ones who don’t get excited and turn up the volume when they hear their favorite song play on the radio. The ones who don’t have headphones on listening to Nas’s Illmatic album trying to drown out the noise of the other kids on the schoolbus. The ones who, when asked “what kind of music do you listen to?” reply with some generic answer like “everything but country” because they don’t have an open mind and they don’t consider that they might actually like a little country if they gave it a chance. The ones that don’t get that feeling every time they listen to music. The ones that don’t have a clue what good music is….no, they don’t listen to music like we do. "To all the heads.

late nights , stars , and dreams.
my eyes closed , music blasting.
my mind enters a new dimension that's ever lasting.
where i can create scenarios of my own liking
create a majectic rainbow path , and go biking.
inside my brain it unfurls.
twirls and does swirls
and somehow this complex mind comes out in singulars and plurals
refined and yet rural.
around me, within the contents of space.
drifting around, no time to waste.
travel the galaxies, visit the stars,
to the cold depts of pluto, to the burning surface of mars.
and to be able to return back to earth
to witness, a new creation of a new birth.
a birth of expression.
still in this mind set, i make one last creation.
and gather a nation.
and all be able to fly in the sky
able to exceed the limits, without whys
float on top of clouds, and eat and dine.
make a jump off the cloud, back right into reality's mind.
opened eyes, morning day.
everything the same way
but with only one thing that's strange.
and that's my undying flame to change.
to love myself, so much to the point where i can't contain.
cause i have accepted me , it's time to pull out the propane.
the propane to smother all doubt, fear, and loneliness.
to ignite and clean up the mess.
cause i don't need those thing anymore.
cause i have love, faith, hope, and some more.
if only I could help you in your time of need.

i'm a winner , you are too !
so listen.
first of all i thought i was a loser , stuck behind this sub-conscience wall
when i lost it all and thought my whole world would become small
but obviously that wasn't the case , but it still hit me hard
it became like a emotional battle scar.
but i realized.
i didn't give a fuck anymore
since i have true friends that stood out more
than what i could have before,
besides that, i gain some more
and what did i gain ?
i gain love thats for sure.
the ability to understand and to live out life's full potential
to rebuild my fundamentals, and gain credentials
so that I could graduate and be handed a diploma
from my deep sleep in a painful coma.
and now here i am , standing tall and proud
and soon , reach out and make a understanding to a crowd.
don't care , and never will about what people say
instead i'll be walking on happiness way.
doing the things they can never achieve,
getting a girl , and treating her like gentle falling leaves
being a gentlemen , opening the door for new opportunities
listening to music , and flow with the melodies.
and right now , i'm a winner at life because I know i'm one
and obviously , i'm not the only one.
because I know that , no matter what people say about each other.
even if it's about their mother
everybody's a winner , they just don't know it.
and they just have to be reminded about it.
and how can you always remember ?
when you give a hug, when you smile at someone you love
when you are kind, and being free like a dove.
every single kind act you do , and when you are yourself , being yourself
you are the biggest winner , no medal , trophy, or gold certificate can say how much you win.
and hence , i'm a winner , so you are too !
